“Everyone’s got their thing. Maybe it’s a breakup, a death, an accident…whatever it is, you used to be one thing. Now, you’re something else.” First footage from Ruben Fleischer’s much-anticipated anti-superhero film has finally arrived, giving us our first look at Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, aka the “lethal protector” Venom. Unsurprisingly, the trailer doesn’t show the eponymous antihero in full, choosing to tease us with a brief glimpse of the symbiote imprisoned within a container, and later its black essence is shown spreading through Brock’s body.
