Wizard of Oz remakes in the works…
A remake of The Wizard of Oz is tenatively in the works.
According to Scifi Wire, there are two treatments being discussed by Warner Brothers.
The first – titled Oz – is being scripted by Darren Lemke and is being housed at New Line Cinemas and produced by Temple Hill, one of the companies behind Twilight.
The second -a darker feature – is Written by Josh Olson (A History of Violenc)eand features Dorothy’s granddaughter returning to fight evil.
