Catherine Hardwicke in talks to helm “If I Say”
Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke is reportedly in talks to helm a new book adaptation for Summit Entertainment.
Hardwicke has been tapped to direct a big screen version of “If I Stay” – the story of a 17-year-old girl having to make the choice whether to live or die following a car crash.
The Gayle Forman novel is not scheduled for release until April but Summit Entertainment reportedly bought Athe screen rights last month.
Hardwicke pulled out of directing New Moon, the second instalment in the Twilight franchise, citing scheduling difficulties.
