Hanks confirmed for Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbols
Tom Hanks has reportedly agreed to star in a third Da Vinci Code film.
The actor who played Robert Langdon in 2006’s The Da Vinci Code and its 2009 sequel Angels & Demons, both based on Dan Brown’s bestselling novels is to reprise the role for an adaptation of Brown’s third book The Lost Symbol.
“[He is] all but ready to return to the character of Robert Langdon,” said a source.
The film is close to pre-production with a 2012 release date.
