Director leaves GI Joe sequel?
Stephen Sommers has reportedly quit Paramount’s sequel to 2009 blockbuster GI Joe: The Rise Of Cobra.
The Los Angeles Times report that the studio has approached two agents representing other filmmakers to come on board forthe film.
It was reported that during production of the first first GI Joe, Sommers had clashed with his producers and Paramount.
The film, starring Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller and Christopher Eccleston, made more than $300 million at the worldwide box office on a budget of $175 million.
