Steven Soderbergh to shoot Knockout in Dublin
The Oscar-winning film director Steven Soderbergh is soon to begin shooting a new film starring top Hollywood stars here in Dublin.
According to reports, scenes for the upcoming action spy thriller Knockout will be filmed on rooftops and other locations around the city centre.
Ewan McGregor and Michael Fassbender have both been confirmed for the movie with Denis Quaid and Michael Douglas reported to be in talks.
Filming will take place at Dublin Docklands, Dublin Airport, the Shelbourne Hotel, as well as other locations in the city centre and Co Wicklow.
Shooting begins on February 2 and is expected to take three weeks.
