Adam Sandler brings Pixels to the big screen
Patrick Jean, the French filmmaker behind web short “Pixels,” has teamed up with Adam Sandler’s production company Happy Madison to develop a feature version of the short.
They pair are currently in talks with Sony’s Columbia Pictures to set up the project at the studio.
Pixels became a hit in April with its 1980s video game characters attacking New York City.
According to reports the plan is to make a Ghostbusters’-style action comedy in which characters come out of a video game to wreak havoc in the real world.
