Timur Bekmambetov’s adaption is based on a novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, who previously wrote the mash-up Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter re-imagines Lincoln as a take-no-prisoners Van Helsing.

The movie, produced by Tim Burton, will begin shooting this year with a release date set for June 2012.
