Jonathan Demme behind the camera…
Meryl Streep (‘August: Osage County,’ ‘The Giver’) is attached to star in ‘Ricky and the Flash,’ an indie comedy drama penned by Diablo Cody, says TheWrap.
With Jonathan Demme (‘The Silence of the Lambs,’ ‘Philadelphia’) set to direct, the film follows a fading rockstar (played by Streep) who, decades after years of being estranged from her children, decides to reconnect as one of them goes through a rough divorce.
Marc Platt, who worked with Demme on 2008’s ‘Rachel Getting Married,’ is on board to produce, with Cody’s manager Mason Novick also producing.
