Two more additions to Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar biopic.
Jeffrey Donovan and Miles Fisher are the latest to join the cast of Clint Eastwood’s biopic ‘J. Edgar.’ The movie, written by Dustin Lance Black (“Milk”), focuses on FBI director J.Edgar Hoover’s scandalous career and controversial private life.
Donovan (‘Burn Notice,’ ‘The Changeling’) has been cast as Robert F. Kennedy, who was at odds with Hoover during 1960s, in large part due to the files Hoover had on the Kennedy clan, including patriarch Joe’s ties to the mob.
The actor announced the casting via Twitter, “I have been [cast] as Bobby Kennedy opposite LD in HOOVER. excited. 🙂 working with Mr Eastwood again. Dreams come true.”
Miles Fisher (‘Final Destination 5,’ ‘Superhero Movie’) joins the production as an FBI agent who interviews Hoover at different points throughout the movie.
The cast of ‘J. Edgar’ includes Leonardo DiCaprio as Hoover alongside Naomi Watts, Ed Westwick, Damon Herriman, Armie Hammer, Josh Lucas, Ken Howard and Stephen Root.
