Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson Confirmed for AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Will play mutant siblings Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

S.H.I.E.L.D. super-spy Nick Fury aka Samuel L. Jackson has confirmed rumours that Elizabeth Olsen (‘Oldboy,’ ‘Liberal Arts’) is set to join the cast of Joss Whedon’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron.’

“I don’t think we begin shooting before March of next year,” Jackson told the Wall Street Journal. ”I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen, but I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script.”

The actress, best known for her role in Sean Durkin’s ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene,’ has long been rumoured to be playing Scarlet Witch, the daughter of Magneto, and the twin sister of Quicksilver.

News of Olsen’s ‘Godzilla’ co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson joining the superhero sequel as Quicksilver comes via the folks over at LatinoReview, who hear that the ‘Kick-Ass’ star, who has been linked to the role since June, has now put pen to paper and committed to the film.

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ is scheduled for release May 2015. You can check out the Comic-Con teaser trailer for the hotly anticipated sequel below.
