Diablo Cody looks back down that crowded hall!
Juno writer Diablo Cody has been hired to write and produce an adaptation of the “Sweet Valley High” book series for Universal, reports Variety.
The “Sweet Valley” novels followed the lives of identical twins with dissimilar personalities — the sensitive and practical Elizabeth and the flighty and boy-crazy Jessica — in the fictional town of Sweet Valley. It was later made into a television series.
The studio is in talks to acquire the film rights to the book series created by Francine Pascal and published by Random House.
