Clifton Collins Jr. set to star in J.T. Petty’s ‘Hellbenders.’
Clifton Collins Jr. (‘Crank 2,’ ‘Star Trek’) has signed on to star in J.T. Petty’s supernatural movie, ‘Hellbenders.’
The movie follows a secret group of elite demonologists in a Brooklyn diocese who battle a terrifying supernatural force that threatens their lives and faith.
Talking to Fangoria, Brian Spears, who will be providing the makeup effects descibes the movie as “sort of like the Hangover meets The Exorcist.”
The movie which is based on a graphic novel written by Petty (‘The Burrowers’) co-stars Clancy Brown and Dan Fogler. Production starts next week and of course… lik everything now, plans are for the movie to be shot in 3D.
