The cast of Judd Apatow’s untitled comedy continues to grow.
Variety has the exclusive that Irish actor Chris O’Dowd (‘The Boat that Rocked,’ ‘I.T. Crowd’) is currently in negotiations to join the ensemble cast of Judd Apatow’s ‘Knocked Up’ spinoff.
Lena Dunham (‘Tiny Furniture’), stand-up comic and actress Charlyne Yi (‘Knocked Up’) and Wyatt Russell (son of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn) are also in talks to join Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann who reprise their roles from Apatow’s ‘Knocked Up.’ Also in the cast are Megan Fox and Albert Brooks.
O’Dowd and Dunham will play employees of Rudd’s indie record company, Russell will portray a hockey player, and Yi will reprise her ‘Knocked Up’ character, Jodi.
The Irish comedian and actor will be seen next in the Apatow-produced ‘Bridesmaids’ which hits Irish cinemas June 24th.–
