Christ Carter plans to make X-files films into trilogy?
Series creator Chris Carter has announced he wants to make X-Files 3 – on the condition that ‘X-Files: I Want To Believe’ makes its budget back.
The film costed roughly 30 million dollars to make and sees Mulder and Scully reunite after a six year absence from our screens.
Carter suggested that X-Files 3 would return to the show’s alien invasion plot which was all but ignored in ‘I Want To Believe’.
Carter’s also hinted that X-Files 3 would be the final outing, concluding a trilogy spanning 14 years.
‘X-Files: I Want To Believe’ is in Irish cinemas August 1st.
