Agatha Christie’s intelligent yet eccentrically-refined Belgian detective Hercule Poirot is back on the case. This October director Kenneth Branagh’s follows up 2017’s ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ with an adaptation of Christie’s 1937 mystery-thriller novel ‘Death On The Nile,’ featuring a stacked cast that includes Gal Gadot, Letitia Wright, Armie Hammer, Annette Bening, Ali Fazal, Sophie Okonedo, Rose Leslie, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Russell Brand and more. You can check out the first poster and trailer below.

Belgian sleuth Hercule Poirot’s Egyptian vacation aboard a glamorous river steamer turns into a terrifying search for a murderer when a picture-perfect couple’s idyllic honeymoon is tragically cut short. Set against an epic landscape of sweeping desert vistas and the majestic Giza pyramids, this tale of unbridled passion and incapacitating jealousy features a cosmopolitan group of impeccably dressed travellers, and enough wicked twists and turns to leave audiences guessing until the final, shocking denouement.

DEATH ON THE NILE is scheduled for release in Irish cinemas October 2020.
