Mark Wahlberg for Cocaine Cowboys adaptation, Peter berg to direct.
Mark Wahlberg, who recently finished shooting the Max Payne (click here for trailer and stills), is set to cross over to the other side of the law for a feature adaptation of the ’70s drug documentary Cocaine Cowboys.
The film tells the story of Jon Roberts (played by Wahlberg), an injured Vietnam vet with Mafia connections, who returns home after the war and ends up dealing billions of dollars worth of cocaine for the Medellin drugs cartel.
Hancock helmer Peter Berg, who recently committed to a Hercules movie, will direct the project.
