The Odeon and UCI Cinemas Group has teamed with Entertainment Enterprises Group to acquire five multi-screen theatres in Ireland from Storm Cinema.
Under the deal, EEG will own the cinemas, which Odeon UCI will manage and operate. Any decision on future branding has not been decided.
In 2003, Odeon UCI sold its Irish subside to EEG.
This deal means Odeon UCI now operates and manages 61 screens across eight theatres in Ireland.
