Susan Sarandon to Join Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler in I HATE YOU DAD

Actress to sex up the Andy Samberg/Adam Sandler comedy.

THR reports that Susan Sarandon is in negotiations to join the cast of ‘I Hate You, Dad’ for directors Sean Anders and John Morris.

The comedy stars Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler, and centres on a father (Sandler) who moves in on the eve of his son’s (Samberg) wedding and promptly begins feuding with the bride-to-be, played by Leighton Meester (‘The Roommate’).

Sarandon will play Mary McGarricle, a sexy teacher with a significant connection to Samberg and Sandler. Ian Ziering is also joining the cast, as a booze- and blow-addicted version of himself. Vanilla Ice will also co-star, playing himself.

James Caan, Will Forte, Milo Ventimiglia, Blake Clark, Meagan Fay (‘Party Down’), Tony Orlando Dan Patrick and Sarandon’s real-life daughter Eva Amurri (‘Californication’) are all in talks to join the comedy.
