Sean Bean Joins Tarsem Singhs Snow White Adaptation

‘Games of Thrones’ star becomes Snow White’s King.

With the amount of casting news related to Rupert Sander’s ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ in the past couple of weeks, we nearly forgot there was another Snow White movie on the way.

Sean Bean has signed up for Tarsem Singh’s untitled adaptation, reports THR. The actor will take the role of Snow White’s (Lily Collins) father, the King, whose kingdom is destroyed by Julia Roberts’ evil Queen.

Also on the cast are Armie Hammer, Nathan Lane, Mare Winningham and Michael Lerner. The movie’s seven dwarfs will be played by Mark Povinelli (‘Water for Elephants’), Jordan Prentice (‘In Bruges’), Danny Woodburn (‘Watchmen’), Sebastian Saraceno (‘Bedtime Stories’), Ronald Lee Clark (‘Epic Movie’), Martin Klebba (‘Pirates of the Caribbean’) and Joey Gnoffo (‘The Benchwarmers’).

The movie is currently in production with Singh directing from a screenplay by Melisa Wallack and Jason D. Keller.
