Rami Malek and Madisen Beaty Join Paul Thomas Andersons Untitled Next

Two more for Scientology-inspired drama.

Showblitz reports that Rami Malek has joined Paul Thomas Anderson’s untitled religious drama.

The actor, best known for playing Ahkmenrah in ‘Night at the Museum,’ will play Clark, the son-in-law of Lancaster Dodd (Philip Seymour Hoffman) the creator of a new faith that closely mirrors Scientology. The movie co-stars Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Laura Dern, Jesse Plemons, David Warshofsky, and Lena Endre.

Malek recently starred in the miniseries ‘The Pacific,’ and will be next seen in Tom Hanks’ ‘Larry Crowne.’ The actor will also be playing Benjamin in the final instalments of the ‘Twilight’ franchise, ‘Breaking Dawn.’

Also joining the cast will be Madisen Beaty (‘The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button’). The sixteen year old actress was previously rumoured to be joining the drama and has now been confirmed by The Film Stage. Her role in the movie is not known at this time.
