The first scenes of ‘Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince’ have been filmed in Gloucester. Stars of film including Daniel Radcliffe, Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman, alongside 170 extra children from local schools turned up at the Gloucester cathedral for filming this week. The 11th century church has been used as the location for Hogwarts in two of the previous potter movies.
The movie will open in Irish cinemas in November.
