Justin Timberlake May Join Clint Eastwood in TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE

Singer-turned-actor lined up for baseball drama.

Variety is reporting that Justin Timberlake is in negotiations to join Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams in ‘Trouble With The Curve.’

The film, which marks the directorial debut of Eastwood’s longtime producing partner Robert Lorenz, sees Eastwood playing an aging baseball scout with vision problems who takes a road trip to Atlanta with his daughter to take a look at a hot prospect.

According to the trade, Timberlake would be playing Johnny Flanagan, Eastwood’s pal and a former pitcher who now works as a baseball scout for the New York Yankees. The character is a potential love interest for Adams.

Matthew Lillard (‘The Descendants,’ ‘SLC Punk!’) and newcomer Joe Massingill are set to co-star.
