FRIENDS WITH KIDS

 

‘Friends With Kids’ is a poignant ensemble comedy about a close-knit circle of friends at that moment in life when children arrive and everything changes. THE DEEP BLUE SEA

 

 

Hester Collyer (Academy Award-winner Rachel Weisz) leads a privileged life in 1950s London as the beautiful wife of high court judge Sir William Collyer (Simon Russell Beale). To the shock of those around her, she walks out on her marriage to move in with young ex-RAF pilot, Freddie Page (Tom Hiddleston), with whom she has fallen passionately in love.

From Vincent Paronnaud and Marjane Satrapi, the directors of ‘Persepolis,’ comes another enchanting film adaptation of a graphic novel by Marjane Satrapi. ‘Chicken with Plums’ follows the last days of a talented musician’s life as he desperately seeks to replace his beloved instrumental, the violin.

 

SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN

 

 

Ewan McGregor stars as a fisheries scientist who finds himself saddled with the task of introducing salmon fishing to the Highlands of Yemen. Director Lasse Hallström adapts this charming British comedy from Paul Torday’s acclaimed novel.
