Wood joins Rashida Jones-penned comedy.
THR reports that Elijah Wood has joined the cast of the Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg-toplined romantic comedy ‘Celeste and Jesse Forever.’
Penned by Jones and Will McCormack, the story will center a on young divorcing couple, played by Jones and Samberg, who try to maintain their long-standing friendship while living together and pursuing other relationships.
Wood will take the role of Celeste’s business partner, a metrosexual who tries to be her “saucy gay friend.” The actor joins Emma Roberts, Ari Graynor and Chris Messina who will also co-star.
The movie is directed by Lee Toland Krieger (‘The Vicious Kind’).
