Philip K. Dick’s ‘Ubik’ heading to the big screen

Philip K. Dick’s science fiction novel ‘Ubik’ will be made into a feature film.

Named as one of the 100 greatest English-language novels by Time Magazine, ‘Ubik’ follows protagonist Joe Chip as he begins to question reality when his boss is killed in an explosion while journeying to the Moon.

Speaking of the film, Dick’s daugher said: “Our dad very much wanted this novel to be reimagined in this way and we are happy to be partnering with Celluloid Dreams, whose overall vision and appreciation of the material is consistent with our own.”
