Get your claws into “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” with director Gavin Hood
He made a name for himself with “Tsotsi”, his acclaimed Oscar-winning 2005 drama about a violent child gang leader in a Johannesburg shanty town. From there he moved on to tackle the gritty 2007 War on Terror in the thriller “Rendition”. So how exactly did Gavin Hood end taking the reins for a comic book franchise?
Paul Byrne recently sat down with Hood to discuss this very question, as well as the challenges he faced bring Wolverine to the bigscreen, taking over for Bryan Singer and why he thinks the X-Men are so popular:
