Fey and Wilson to lead new indie drama?
Actress and comedian Tina Fey (’30 Rock,’ ‘Date Night’) is reportedly close to finalising a deal to lead Paul Weitz’s upcoming indie drama ‘Admission.’
Based on Jean Hanff Korelitz’ book, the film follows Portia Nathan (Fey), “a posh Ivy League admissions officer whose relationship with a 17-year-old recruitment prospect threatens to unravel her personal, romantic, and professional lives.”
Vulture reports that Owen Wilson (‘Midnight in Paris’) is also circling the project, and would take the role of a teacher at an alternative school that falls for Fey’s character.
The screenplay was written by Karen Croner (‘One True Thing’).
