Pair will reteam for Cartel drama…
‘Nightcrawler’ Jake Gyllenhaal has signed on to reunite with his ‘Southpaw’ director Antoine Fuqua for the true-life drama ‘The Man Who Made It Snow,’ reports Deadline.
Based on the autobiography of Max Mermelstein, the drama tells how the Jewish hotel engineer transformed Pablo Escobar’s small mom and pop drug organization into a billion-dollar enterprise known as the Medellin Cartel.
Fuqua (‘The Equalizer,’ ‘Olympus Has Fallen’) will helm the film from a screenplay by Brett Tabor and Michael Kingston.
NIGHTCRAWLER is in cinemas around the country now.
