French helmer in talks for action flick.
Pierre Morel (‘From Paris With Love,’ ‘Taken,’ ‘District B13’) has entered into negotiations to take the director’s chair for the actioner ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard.’
The plot centres on the world’s best bodyguard as he is forced to escort his arch nemesis, the world’s top assassin, to The Hague so he can testify against a brutal dictator and save his wife.
Written by Tom O’Connor (‘Fire With Fire’), the script featured on the 2011 Black List of unproduced scripts.
Morel was recently attached to direct action thriller ‘Bastille Day’ but has apparently removed himself from the project.
