Stephen King and Son Go Full ‘Throttle’….
Stephen King and son Joe Hill’s 60-page novella Throttle will be turned into a film.
Producer Nick Wechsler (The Fountain), who paid for the rights with his own money, compared the story to Steven Spielberg’s first movie.
He said: “It has elements of iconic films like ‘Duel’ and ‘Breakdown’, but with a horror element that I want to push.”
The King-Hill story focuses on members of a motorcycle gang who are pursued through the desert by a tanker truck.
Stephen King’s ‘The Mist’ is in Irish cinemas July 4th.
