Star Trek The First Review

It’s not out until next summer but fanboy Kevin Smith has hinted about what’s in store

He’s the world’s biggest geek (that’s a self appointed title) and he’s not ashamed to admit it. Kevin Smith has written some of the greatest cult movies and comic books out there and that is the kind of power you need to see 2009’s biggest movies in 2008, long before they hit cinemas. Smith has already revealed that he’s been to an advance screening of the highly anticipated ‘Watchmen’ but now he’s topped that by teasing us with a very short but very sweet review of J.J Abrams upcoming ‘Star Trek‘ reboot.

Speaking on KROQ radio Smith dropped the following review of next summer’s most anticipated blockbuster “Anybody who was worried doesn’t need to be worried-about this film I cannot talk about… It was in very capable hands. The director did a phenomenal job-the director and his crew. Top notch cast and the guy that plays the lead is an instant star. That dude is going to be so famous. He is so wonderful. He picked up a role that I would say is pretty challenging for someone to step into the shoes of, because it is a role that has been played before many times by the same guy.”
