Margot Robbie took to social media today to give fans a “cheeky sneaky peeky” of herself and co-stars Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ella Jay Basco, and Chris Messina in costume on the Cathy Yan-directed ‘Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).’
Penned by Christina Hodson (‘Bumblebee’), the film sees Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and three other female superheroes – Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez ) – come together to save the life of young Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) from one of Gotham City’s brutally sadistic kingpins, Black Mask (Ewan McGregor).
