The producers of Slumdog Millionaire are reportedly planning to adapt the Oscar winning film into a musical.
The Hindustan Times reports producer Christian Colson is working on a stage musical of the film to raise funds for Mumbai’s slum kids.
The
profile of the film will remain high – we can’t assume attention on
these children will drift away, Colson is quoted as
telling The Times.
Slumdog Millionaire won eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture, on Sunday night.
