Sinners – Interview with actor Jack O’Connell

Ryan Coogler, the visionary director behind Black Panther and Creed, returns with Sinners, a spine-tingling film that blends supernatural with deep emotional resonance. Starring Michael B. Jordan in a dual role as twin brothers Smoke and Stack, the movie set in 1930s Mississippi is already one of 2025’s best reviewed films.

The story follows the twins as they return to their hometown, hoping to leave their troubled pasts behind. Instead, they uncover a great evil lurking in the shadows—vampires. But this is just the beginning, the film is about more than just that, the director’s ability to blend genres – horror, drama, and period storytelling elevates the narrative beyond a traditional horror tale.

The film boasts an all-star cast, including Jack O’Connell, who recently appeared on the small screen in SAS Rogue Heroes. Jack first got our attention for his roles in ‘Skins’ & the Irish troubles movie ’71’. Later this year he will star in Danny Boyle’s ’28 Years Later’ before going onto film the next Godzilla X Kong movie.

In ‘Sinners’ Jack plays the enigmatic Remmick, leader of a group of vampires, we caught up with the actor to learn more…
