Danny Glover and Jon Heder to co-star.
Richard Dreyfuss (‘Paranoia,’ ‘Jaws’), Danny Masterson (‘Alter Egos,’ ‘That 70s Show’), Danny Glover (‘Death at a Funeral,’ ‘Lethal Weapon’) and Jon Heder (‘For Ellen,’ ‘Napoleon Dynamite’) are attached to star in the dark indie comedy ‘Killing Winston Jones,’ says Variety.
Set to begin filming next week in Savannah, Georgia, the plot centres on “a sixth-grade English teacher (Masterson) who’s on a mission to get the newly constructed junior high gymnasium named after his father (Dreyfuss) despite the fact that the person so memorialized must be dead — leading to a bitter contest over the naming rights with his old rival (Glover).”
Actor/director Joel David Moore (‘Avatar,’ ‘Spiral’) is in the director’s chair, helming from a script by Justin T. Winter. Albert Sandoval and Daemon Hillin of RadioactiveGiant are producing with Tom Somerset and Peter Winther serving as executive producers.
