Dinklage joins ‘Michelle Darnell.’
‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ star Peter Dinklage has closed a deal to join Melissa McCarthy for the comedy ‘Michelle Darnell.’
Per Variety, the comedy film sees McCarthy playing ” a titan of industry who is sent to prison after she’s caught for insider trading. When she emerges ready to rebrand herself as America’s latest sweetheart, not everyone she screwed over is so quick to forgive and forget.”
While it yet to be confirmed, the trade’s sources have Dinklage in line to play the film’s antagonist.
McCarthy’s husband and writing partner Ben Falcone is in the director’s chair. The two are also producing through their On the Day Productions, along Gary Sanchez Productions duo Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.
