Downfall director Oliver Hirschbiegel helms Belfast drama
James Nesbitt and Liam Neeson will star in Oliver Hirschbiegel’s ‘Five Minutes Of Heaven’.
The project currently shooting on location in Northern Ireland, tells the story of two men wracked by the violence that plagued Northern Ireland from the late 1960s through to the peace process in 1998, and how they attempt to come to terms with the Troubles’ aftermath.
Eoin O’Callaghan is producing for Big Fish Films with Paul Trijbits exec producing for Ruby Films.
EXTRAs: Nesbitt and Neeson have both worked on projects examining the Republican and Loyalist conflict before. Neeson starred in 1996’s Michael Collins, while Nesbitt featured in Paul Greengrass’s Bloody Sunday.
