Tina Fey no longer linked to star….
Robert De Niro and Reese Witherspoon are reportedly in negotiations to star in ‘The Intern,’ the Nancy Meyers workplace comedy that Tina Fey had once been attached to.
Should the stars commit to the project, Witherspoon would be playing the owner of a flourishing fashion website, who is roped into taking part in her company’s Senior Intern Program. De Niro will take the role of her intern, an over-70 widower who is bored with retirement from a middle management career.
Worldview Entertainment is backing the project with Scott Rudin (‘Captain Phillips,’ ‘Inside Llewyn Davis,’ ‘The Social Network’) producing.
