In addition to the cast of Caine, the site hears that Oscar-nominated ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ actress Jessica Chastain has entered into talks for a supporting role.
‘Interstellar’ was penned by Nolan and his brother Jonathan Nolan, and is based on physicist Kip Thorne’s theories of gravity fields, wormholes and several hypotheses that Albert Einstein was never able to prove.
Nolan and his wife and Syncopy partner Emma Thomas are producing with Lynda Obst. Jordan Goldberg is on board to serve as executive producer alongside Kip S. Thorne, who’ll remain on as technical consultant.
