“More than a toy… he’s your best friend.” It was announced this past weekend that legendary ‘Star Wars’ actor Mark Hamill will lend his voice to iconic horror character Chucky in the upcoming ‘Child’s Play’ reboot.

Hamill joins a cast that includes Aubrey Plaza, Gabriel Bateman, and Brian Tyree Henry, with Lars Klevberg (‘Polaroid’) directing. A “contemporary re-imagining” of the 1988 horror hit, the film follows Karen Barclay (Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son Andy (Bateman) a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its evil nature.
