Law in, Fassbender out…
Multiple outlets are reporting that Jude Law (‘Dom Hemingway,’ ‘Sherlock Holmes’) has stepped in to replace ‘Frank’ star Michael Fassbender in Michael Grandage’s indie drama ‘Genius.’
Based on A. Scott Berg’s award-winning biography, the John Logan-penned film focuses on the relationship between literary giant Thomas Wolfe (Law) and his long-time editor Max Perkins.
Colin Firth is on board to portray Perkins, with his ‘The Railway Man’ and ‘Paddington’ co-star Nicole Kidman also attached.
Grandage and James Bierman of The Michael Grandage Company are producing alongside Logan. Tim Bevan will serve as executive producer.
