Actress enters the workplace.
Julia Roberts (‘Larry Crowne’) is attached to star in the new workplace comedy ‘Second Act.’ The ‘Eat Pray Love’ star will produce the project via her Red Om Films banner, along with former agent and producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas.
As the project is in the development stages, it is currently without a writer or director, but according to THR the plot follows “a woman who has never worked and is forced to take a job.”
Producers Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray are also on board, producing under their Maven Pictures banner. Roberts will next be seen playing the Evil Queen opposite Lily Collins’ Snow White in Tarsem Singh’s “sickeningly kiddie” ‘Mirror Mirror’ when it lands in cinemas March 2012.
