Will take a supporting role.
Variety has word that ‘The Expendables’ star Sylvester Stallone has landed a small role in writer/director John Herzfeld’s indie drama ‘Reach Me.’
Starring rapper-turned-actor Nelly, Omari Hardwick (‘Kick-Ass’), British actress Elizabeth Henstridge (‘S.H.I.E.L.D’), Danny Aiello (‘Lucky Number Slevin’) and Herzfeld’s wife Rebekah Chaney (‘Waste Land’), the story follows “a group of people who all have a connection to a self-help book authored by a reclusive former football coach.”
Herzfeld, who co-starred with Stallone in the 1986 action thriller ‘Cobra,’ previously wrote and directed the Robert De Niro thriller ‘15 Minutes’ and ‘2 Days in the Valley.’ He most recently directed the indie actioner ‘The Death and Life of Bobby Z’ starring Paul Walker, Laurence Fishburne and Olivia Wilde.
