Jodie Foster Checks Into HOTEL ARTEMIS

Screenwriter Drew Pearce (‘Iron Man 3,’ ‘Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation,’ ‘Godzilla’) is to make his directorial debut with ‘Hotel Artemis,’ a near-future crime thriller that has Jodie Foster (‘Money Monster’) attached to star.

Plot details are under lock and key, but the press release describes it as a thriller in its own, distinctive crime universe, with Foster playing a character called “The Nurse.”

The Ink Factory’s Simon and Stephen Cornwell are producing, along with Adam Siegel and Marc Platt producing for Marc Platt Productions. Pearce will also serve as executive producer, through his Point of No Return banner.

“Casting Jodie Foster is a real coup. She is an extraordinary talent and will bring something very special to the film. We are delighted to welcome her to this exciting production,” said Cornwell. “Drew’s vision is unique and we can’t wait to see it brought to life by a stellar cast.”

The producers are aiming to have the cameras rolling in May or June of next year.
