Helmer Peter Askin on board to direct.
THR is reporting that Joan Allen (‘The Bourne Legacy,’ ‘Death Race,’ ‘Face/Off’) has closed a deal to headline the Stephen King adaptation ‘A Good Marriage.’
Appearing as part of King’s ‘Full Dark, No Stars’ short story collection, ‘A Good Marriage’ centres on Darcy Anderson, “a woman who discovers the sinister and gruesome double life that her husband of 25 years and father of their two children has been living. She must now decide how far she is willing to go to maintain the marriage.”
The adaptation will be directed by Peter Askin, from a screenplay by King. Principal photography is scheduled to kick off New York mid-October.
