‘Non-Stop’ and ‘Unknown’ director Jaume Collet-Serra is taking the director’s chair for the thriller ‘Sniper Elite,’ says Variety.
The film is based on the trilogy of novels by ‘American Sniper’ co-author Scott McEwen and Thomas Koloniar and centres on a Special Ops Black tasked with stopping a group of Chechen terrorists from launching a pair of “suitcase” nukes somewhere in America.
Sheldon Turner (‘Up In The Air,’ ‘X-Men: First Class’) is attached to provide the script. Kevin Misher, Jennifer Klein are producing with Collet-Serra and his partner Ombra Films partner Juan Sola.
