Chan teaming with Bingbing for action comedy.
THR is reporting that Chinese actress Fan Bingbing is set to star opposite action legend Jackie Chan on his next English-language feature, ‘Skiptrace.’
Based on an original idea by Chan, the action comedy follows “a Hong Kong detective and American gambler who set out to take down Hong Kong’s most notorious criminal.”
Jon Longino co-wrote the screenplay with Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka (‘The Sitter’). The film will be produced by David Gerson.
Bingbing, who has a small role in the Chinese edit of Marvel’s ‘Iron Man 3,’ is currently in production on Byran Singer’s ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past.’
