Fassbender to narrate racing docu.
‘Prometheus’ and ‘Shame’ star Michael Fassbender has signed on to narrate Exclusive Media’s Spitfire Pictures’ new documentary film ‘1.’ The news was announced by the film’s producer and Exclusive Media co-chairman Nigel Sinclair and fellow producer Michael Shevloff together with director Paul Crowder (‘The Last Play at Shea,’ ‘Amazing Journey: The Story of The Who’).
“We are honoured that Michael has agreed to lend his voice to our film. He is one of the most talented actors in the world today as well as being a Formula 1 fan. His charismatic and daring approach to acting lends itself perfectly to our story about a generation of risk takers in a glamorous and dangerous sport. We couldn’t be more excited,” said Sinclair and Shevloff.
“Michael Fassbender is a brilliant and fearless actor who will bring all the passion and excitement of our action documentary to life. There is truly no better voice to tell this story,” said Crowder.
‘1’ is written by Mark Monroe, Crowder’s long time creative partner, who wrote the Oscar winning documentary ‘The Cove’ and ‘The Tillman Story.’
Fassbender recently completed shooting Terrence Malick’s latest and untitled film with Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara and Natalie Portman and will soon begin production on ‘Jane Got A Gun’ also starring Natalie Portman, followed by Bryan Singer’s ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past.’
