Bethesda’s Fallout 3 Headed to the Big Screen?
Fallout 3 developers Bethesda are reportedly in early talks to bring the acclaimed vidgame to the big screen.
The rumour was sparked when the company recently filed trademarks for the brand as “motion picture films about a post-nuclear apocalyptic world,” as well as “entertainment services in the nature of an on-going television program.”
Fallout 3 is set in the year 2277, 200 years after the nuclear war that devastated the world in an alternate post-WWII timeline. The game puts the player in the role of an inhabitant of Vault 101, a survival shelter designed to protect humans from the nuclear fallout. When the player’s father disappears under mysterious circumstances, the player is forced to escape and journey into the ruins of Washington DC.
With no official confirmation it’s early days yet for the possible film but check with Movies.ie for more on all things Bethesda very soon.
